Will moving a virus/trojan horse to the virus vault with AVG fix the problem?

AVG says it's a "Trojan horse SHeur.BCOL" is this bad??

help please! thx|||Yes it's bad. No virus is good and has lots of potential of harming your computer, or destroying it. The virus needs to be removed completely from your system.

The best way to "Safely" do this is to restart your computer in safe mode and then run the anti-virus program. Once it detects the virus(s), you can safely remove it (them).

You get to safe mode by restarting your computer and before windows loads up, you will see, at the bottom of the computer screen, something to the affect of "press F-8 or F10" or something like that. Once you see it, press the appropriate button continually until you see a screen that gives you the option of starting windows in safe mode. Again, once in safe mode, run your anti-virus software and remove the threat(s)|||It depends usually, it depends how the hacker made the plan for the trojan|||It might, and it might not...

Not trying to be funny here, but many viruses have methods to "re-install" after they detect removal by an anti-virus product.

Try it, and then reboot and scan again.

Also, do a scan with spybot search and destroy from www.safer-networking.org
