How do i get rid of a trojen horse on my computer?

i have avg free on my pc and it tells me from time to time that i have got a trojen horse what do i do to get it out i keep pressing put it in the vault and heal the file is this right|||Hi there,





This is something I keep going ON AND ON about, but please avoid AVG, Spybot and Adaware. You are completely backing up my argument as AVG's protection is completely flawed - hence you've been infected. People seem to think these programs are great because they're free, but they simply don't realise malware is sailing straight through and infecting their computers.

The best way to avoid getting any Malware (virus, Trojan's, spyware, etc) is to practice safe computing. Microsoft and many others have countless articles on the subject of safe computing. (something I think should be taught in schools)|||Someone somewhere is sitting creating a new virus as we speak unfortunately. The only thing you can do is ensure that your machine has adequate virus and spy ware protection and a good firewall. Make sure your virus protection is updated regularly and run a scan at least once a week on your machine. Some people say to avoid 'dodgy' sites when on the Internet but this does not always help as the best of sites can have a virus sneak in the back door. My parents use the free AVG software and like it. I use Panda and like that. Other than some software being free and some costing, I don't think there is much between them other than personal preference.|||Hi, you can try firefox browser.





it can block any annoying popup ads. it can prevent most of the virus in the webpage, as you know, most of the virus is spread through internet.
