Do you have to be able to ride a horse to...?

Do you have to be able to ride a horse to be able to do equestrian vaulting? And does anyone know of any good places near the centre of England?x

%26amp;%26amp; do they teach you to ride or just do the gymnastics on the back. And do you have to have your own horse? Any help and advice would be appreciated :)|||its not a necessity to be able to ride, but i might help :D

if your thinking of starting it up, i suggest having four or five riding lessons before you start vaulting, to get a feel for the horses movement, and to get some experience around horses,

some places might also offer riding lessons but i don't think riding and vaulting are all taught in one lesson, after all you paying for vaulting not riding!

you don't have to have your own horse no. vaulting horses are trained to accept the special equipment and are usually very calm and relaxed, some most places have they're own horse/s that they can trust with beginners - like yourself.

i don't know of any where sorry - my mum taught me ;)
