What is a Trojan Horse Downloader.Generic8.ACVW and how can I remove it?

this virus drives me insane, it keeps appearing even if I deleted it on the virus vault.|||A Trojan virus is faulty computer program that can infect remote computers by changing the desktop or deleting important files. Generally called a Trojan Horse, it appears as a legitimate file or software from a trusted source, therefore tricking users into opening it or downloading it. Take action and protect your personal computer files by learning to delete this Trojan virus.

Here is more infomation and removal guide:

http://downloadlk.com/Spyware/Get-Rid-of…|||Hi,

I use AVG anti virus and I noticed that I was getting a Trojan Horse showing up as well. Mine was attaching itself to the restore file and I found an easy fix over at the AVG forum.

I don't think there is a need to buy any software to get rid of this, just run through the basic steps they give you;

1. Go to my computer and right click and go to properties

2. Then go to system restore tab and uncheck the system restore box at the top. It will ask you if you're sure and click OK.

3. Restart your computer and run your antivirus

It should be gone. If that works go back in and switch on your system restore by checking the box that you unchecked before.

I also made a 3 minute video showing you exactly how to do this and put it on my blog.|||ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS provides you with powerful protection from countless threats.
